An Introduction to the Mitsubishi Galant VR-4

The Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 is a rare all wheel drive turbo charged rally car sold in the United States only for the years 1991 and 1992. Only 3,000 total Galant VR-4s were shipped here to be sold, 2,000 in 1991 and 1,000 in 1992. Each car came equipped with it's own unique badge number. This car was very popular due to its success in the WRC (World Rally Cross) Chapionships in which it claimed 3 world titles. In stock form the car has an impressive 200 horsepower going to all four wheels. With light modification, the car can be made to have much more.
I own two of these cars, a 1991 (number 989 out of 2,000) and a 1992 (number 141 out of 1,000). I'm and active member on the main Galant VR-4 forum (GalantVR-4.org) and attend meets whenever they are local. Working on these two cars is my favorite hobby. At car meets, there are always a handful of rally car enthusiasts that just get a kick out of seeing such a rare older car in such good condition.
